Today I had the opportunity to put my hands on the new Nikon D300. Our local photo store here in Leipzig, Germany had some Nikon reps along with two D300 and a AF-S 14-24 f/2.8. Sadly they had no D3.

Hardware Monitoring is not enabled by default in Ubuntu 7.10. It is still not so easy to setup all in the right way. My goal was to control the speed of my fans and display some temperatures. I hope this little tutorial helps you.

I assume that you know what Tor is and for what do you want to use it. This post is just a quick reference how to setup and use it under Ubuntu 7.10 with Firefox for web surfing.
Here I have a short description for you which worked for me under Ubuntu 7.10:
